6月13日(木)に開催された、「ルクセンブルク・日本ビジネスフォーラム」のパネルディスカッション1「現代データエコノミーのためのパートナーシップ」に、越塚登教授が登壇しました。モデレータは、ルクセンブルク経済省サイバー・セキュリティ局兼デジタルテクノロジー局プロジェクト長　ゴティエ・クロームリンク氏が務め、駐日欧州連合代表部　公使参事官　デジタルエコノミー政策　ピーター・ファテルニグ氏と、ルクセンブルク ナショナルデータサービス（LNDS）　技術部長　クリストフ・トレフォア氏が一緒に登壇しました。

2024年6月11日（金）に、ダイワユビキタス学術研究館3階ホールにおいて、ルクセンブルグの経済ミッションで訪日されている皆様が、東京大学を訪問いただき、主にデータスペースと医療・健康分野の国際データ流通、また東京大学とルクセンブルグ大学との交流に関して議論を行いました。ルクセンブルグ政府から、Mr. Gauthier Crommelinck (Project Officer, Ministry of the Economy) 、Ms. Carole Bruckler (Project Chief, Ministry of Economy)、また医療分野からDr. Jamin Schulz (Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH))、Dr. Marc Berna (CEO Hopitaux Robert Shuman)、国のデータスペースであるLNDSの技術を担当するMr. Christophe Trefois (Head of Technology, Luxembourg National Data Sercice (LNDS))、またNTTデータ社からMr. Michael Mossal (Senior Director NTT DATA Luxembourg)、Ms. Katharina Hrom (PMO NTT DATA Luxembourg)、土橋昌 様（NTTデータ）、など、多くの皆様が参加された。本学情報学環からは、越塚 教授、小出 特任教授、大庭准教授、羽多野 准教授、清家 特任助教が出席しました。また、Prof. Yves le Traon （CEO University of Luxembourg）は、航空機トラブルで急遽訪日できなくなり、翌日6/12にオンライン会議を行い、大学間学術交流について懇談した。今後、ルクセンブルグのLNDSはルクセンブルグ大学と共同プロジェクトや学術交流の実現につなげていきたい。

2024年6月4日に、AODP (Asia Open Data Partnership）（https://aodp.tca.org.tw/）のData Space WGの第一回会合をオンラインで開催しました。プログラムは以下の通りです。

Overview

Data space is a concept of data platforms “offering both multi-organizational agreements and technical infrastructure to facilitate trusted data sharing between two or more participants:, forming a value creating ecosystem including business models”.  In Europe, there are many initiatives related to data spaces such as GAIA-X, International Data Spaces Association (IDSA), Catena-X, Manufacturing-X, FIWARE, and Eclipse.  Also in Asia, for example in Japan, DATA-EX and Ouranos Ecosystem are examples of data spaces initiatives.

In OECD, IAP (Institutional Arrangement of Partnership) is a new activity to realize DFFT (Data Free Flow with Trust).

In AODP, we would like to start a new WG “Data Space WG” in which we will study and share information and knowledge about data spaces, and discuss the role of open data in data spaces.  Also, we would like to discuss how Asia should deal with  data spaces.  We are planning to have three WG meetings in this year.  The result of discussion will be input to the AODP Summit 2024 which will be held in October 8 and 9, 2024 in Tokyo.

We hope many people will join the WG.

2024年3月6日（水）から6月2日（日）まで、東京大学総合研究博物館ＪＰタワー学術文化総合ミュージアム「インターメディアテク」にて、特別展示『都市 − ヱドキリエズ』が開催中です。

江戸の町の見方の変化を味わえる江戸切繪圖、学際情報学府の学生（山口温大、濱津すみれ、天野克敏、飯田ジュリエット柚実）が制作したハイブリッド地図作品、様々な映像が展示されています。
※　天野克敏さんが、越塚研究室です。

学際情報学府学生による作品「kaleidomap」は、同じ地点を描いた複数の地図をコラージュし、地形の立体模型に投影した作品です。地図が世界を独自の解釈で切り取り、独自の方法で表現していることを強調しています。「AI『地図』」は、画像生成AIによって描画した、実在しない場所の「地図」です。AIが生成したありそうでありえない地図は、未来の都市の革新を考えるきっかけになるのではないでしょうか。

「これは江戸切繪圖の展覧会ではない。」

本展示では、新しい都市の風景の切り取り方、都市に対する新しい視点を体験していただけます。ご観覧のあと、東京の街の只中へ出ていったときに、東京の町の見え方が変わっているかもしれません。

災害から国民の命と暮らしを守るためには、有事・平時に関わらず、1人1人が正確な情報を適切なタイミングで取得できる事が重要である。デジタル社会となった現在、防災減災に関わる情報を発信する国や自治体と、国民へ情報を届ける役割を担うメディアなど民間で、様々なデータを共有できる環境整備の必要性が高まっています。使いやすい防災データPF研究会は、防災や災害対応に資する各種データを使用しやすい形式で集約する基盤・プラットフォームのあり方について、関係者が検討、研究し、実現に向けて提言するために設置されました。この度2022年度、2023年度の活動の成果をとりまとめて、提言書としましたので、ここに公開いたします。

2024年2月6日に、フィンランド Turuk大学の皆様が、日立東大ラボ・ハビタットイノベーションを訪問し、スマートシティに関してディスカッションを行いました。

2023年12月22日（金）に東京大学大学院 情報学環 ダイワユビキタス学術研究館にて開催された「情報処理学会行動変容学研究グループ第6回研究会」において、越塚研D1の坂本凛くんが「最優秀デモ・ポスター賞」を受賞しました。受賞した研究については、こちらからご確認頂けます。

On Friday, December 22, 2023, at the Daiwa Ubiquitous Computing Research Building of the University of Tokyo Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies, Mr. Rin Sakamoto from Koshizuka Lab, D1, was awarded the “Best Demo/Poster Prize” during the 6th Research Workshop of the IPSJ SIG-BTI (Behavior Transformation by IoT). データスペース・ディスカバリー・デイ・東京の開催
〜IDSA Japan Hub 設立と MoU締結式〜

2023年11月22日、国立大学法人東京大学は、一般社団法人データ社会推進協議会(DSA)、International Data Spaces Association(IDSA)、３者間でMoU(Memorandum of Understanding)を締結し、東京大学情報学環(東京都文京区)内にIDSA Japan Hubを設立しました。

IDSAは、デジタル時代におけるデータ駆動社会実現のための国際的なデータスペース構築のパイオニアです。今後、IDSA Japan Hubでは、国際的な協調の下で、データスペースに関する活動・研究を行い、日本におけるデータ流通とイノベーションを促進いたします。（原稿：清家大嗣、葛杭麗）

Data Spaces Discovery Day, Tokyo
〜IDSA Japan Hub Establishment and MoU Signing Ceremony〜

On November 22, 2023, The University of Tokyo signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Data Society Alliance and the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA) to announce the establishment of IDSA Japan Hub, within the University of Tokyo Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies (Bunkyo-ku,Tokyo).

IDSA is a pioneer in the international construction of data spaces to realize a data-driven society in the digital age. In the future, IDSA Japan Hub will engage in activities and research related to data spaces under international collaboration, promoting data flow innovation in Japan.(Manuscript by Hirotsugu Seike and Hangli Ge)
